Take a look around you, This photo was taken right in front of my home. When I look at it I see wildness and wonder and beauty. I took this picture on a day I was feeling pretty discouraged. Sometimes, all it takes to change your focus is to look out across a field and realize you live in a place that could be a painting.
It was on this day I decided that instead of focusing on every little thing that went wrong, or all the news broadcasts that would have us think the world is ending – I was going to seek out and write about the magical, mystical, moments.
